Carol
When I saw the pleading eyes of the three month old Shepherd mix at the Tampa Humane Society, I knew that I would be taking this precious puppy home with me. Many years had passed since I had a puppy this young and one of this size. She weighed 24 pounds the day I adopted her. Needless to say, it didn't take long to realize I had more dog than I could handle. This was made evident on my trip to the vet's office when I couldn't control her to get her in the car.
What a dilemma! I had adopted this "horse dog" that was growing more like Marmaduke everyday and she was gaining the control that I was loosing. I am so thrilled that you were recommended to help train Sasha. The day that you came to my home, I'm sure you recognized the challenge that would lie ahead not only in training Sasha, but in training me. I couldn't believe the difference your technique and training has made in our obedience.
Sasha is now six months old and 50+ pounds. I am looking forward to working with you again in the near future.
Thank you for your professionalism and guidance in raising a well behaved and enjoyable puppy. Her energy still surpasses mine and probably always will.
Again thank you,
J. A. Jeffers
- I give Lucky Dog full marks for a job well done training my puppy. Carol is professional, personable and very, very good at what she does. I couldn't be happier with the results of her skillful training.

- I was fortunate enough to have Lucky Dog Pet Training as my first step in training our newly rescued Golden/Chow dog Sophie. Not only is the owner Carol both knowledgeable in all aspects of training, she is a real 'hands on' trainer. It's been months since our last class and she has always gone the extra mile when I call her in helping me with any questions I may have and hasn't hesitated to refer me to organizations, vets or information that I may need. Sophie and I thank her for all her patience and love that she has shown us. You will walk away from this experience with both a better knowledge of your dog, a well behaved dog, and always knowing you made a lifetime friend who will always be there to make sure you and your pet are happy.

- I am fortunate to have to a lab puppy that is now 7 months old. ‘Maggie’ is a most loveable puppy but very much a puppy and at times, slightly un-manageable. I discovered Lucky Dog Pet Training through my veterinarian’s office.
After a few weeks with Carol Comer and Lucky Dog Pet Training Maggie is 100% better. Now… she is not the perfect puppy; she still has her moments and we have a ways to go, but compared to when we first met Carol, Maggie is a different puppy.
After just few weeks training I would recommend Carol Comer and Lucky Dog without reservation to anyone seeking a win/win situation between them and their pet. Carol not only works with the pets, but she works with the owners and teaches them (for lack of better wording), how the pet thinks and what to expect and how to handle the situation.
Carol makes her classes so interesting that it seems ‘Maggie’ actually looks forward to going to Lucky Dog. Carol genuinely cares about the pets and as strange as it may seem, and I believe that Maggie knows that.
Thank you so much Carol, you have truly made a difference with Maggie and me.

- Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Carol can! She took on my adopted 4 year old Bichon, my 8 year old Border Collie/Aussie mix, and me. Her patience, skills, and positive attitude gave me the tools to better understand the dogs and to achieve their willing responses. And best of all, to have fun doing it! Thanks Carol.
